“I came here because it’s the last time that I can do it. I came to Wicklow 6 times before and I thought that I would have been in the same town for my last trip as a student, but instead I was sent to Drogheda. I stayed with an Irish host family and I really really liked them.
I liked the trips out of Drogheda, because I never had seen Trim Castle before, the Hill of Tara neither. I enjoyed being the interpreter in Glendalough as well, because it made the trip funnier for me. The weather was wonderful, the sun was shinning and the birds were singing!!
I didn’t really enjoy the table quiz because we were four in the team and the leaders thought that I had a lot of knowledge, actually I didn’t. I didn’t like the sport days because we had two days of sport for the whole stay, instead we could have gone to Dublin again for shopping…. Okay I’m a real girl, and so what?! ;)
I would really like to come back to Ireland because it is my favourite country -with France- and I would like to live here later. Next year I’ll probably come as a group leader, because I like the contact with people, and I like to talk in English.”
– Anne-Sophie Alix, French, 17.
"It was my first time as a junior group leader but I have been to Ireland before. The welcome presentation on arrival was very good, they gave good imformation and addressed the audience.
The staff were great, everybody tried to help us as much as possible and I felt very integrated. Good job!
The organisation and supervision of the activities and excusrions was really great, we had something to do every single day. The talent show and sports especially were great fun.
My host family was awesome, I wouldnt have changed them for anything. I think my students enjoyed their time here and with their host families too. The staff really did a great job and I would definitely come back here, I could summarise my stay here in five words...
I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE!!!! "
