The Certificate in Business Management is an entry-level qualification for those students who wish to follow a career in a service and/or manufacturing management environment. The course provides a professional qualification, which, may be used to prepare directly for a career in management or, to gain entry into study for further professional qualifications. The syllabuses are regularly updated to ensure they reflect the evolving needs of contemporary business and the rapidly changing conditions that exist in management learning. The certificate course aims to provide students with not only an appreciation of the theoretical issues involved in the study of management, but with a range of practical skills which will enhance their value to potential employers.
The Certificate course is a first stage in the Business Management programme, which is comprised of 4 specific stages or steps. At Certificate level there are four introduction modules or units.

The Diploma Business Management programme provides a professional qualification, which, may be used to prepare directly for a career in business management or, to gain entry into study for further professional qualifications. The syllabuses are regularly updated to ensure they reflect the evolving needs of contemporary business and the rapidly changing conditions where business exists. The nature of the programme is to provide students with not only an appreciation of the theoretical issues involved in the study of business management, but with a range of practical skills which will enhance their value to potential employers.
The Diploma is the second stage in the Business Management programme and is a progression for students who successfully complete the Certificate. There are 9 units in the Diploma which are divided into; Diploma 1(4 units) and Diploma 2(5 units). The content at Diploma level is much more detailed and students will require additional reading to acquire a broad based understanding of the business and management concepts studied on this course.

The Advanced Diploma in Business Management course focuses on strategic areas of management. Typical jobs for Advanced Diploma holders include marketing, general manager and finance manager. Advanced Diploma holders with relevant work experience may also “fast track” to an MBA programme at a selection of Universities.
The Advanced Diploma is the 3rd stage in the Business Management programme and successful completion will allow students to progress to the final year degree in Business Management. Assessment takes the form of externally set exams and delivery is carried out through Lecturers, workshops and group projects/assignments.
