Exam Preparation

About TOEFL:

The TOEFL test measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to communicate in English in the college or university classroom. Test scores are used in the admissions process at more than 6,000 academic institutions throughout the world. You can take the Internet-based Test (iBT) or the Paper-based Test (PBT), depending on which format is offered at your test center.

How do I know if this is the right exam for me?

  • Do you plan to study at a college or university where instruction is done through English?

If so then the TOEFL exam is the exam for you.

What will TOEFL do for you?

  • No matter where in the world you want to study, the TOEFL test can help get you there. You will be eligible for admission to virtually any institution in the world — including the top colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia and New Zealand..
  • The TOEFL test gives you more flexibility on when, where and how often you can take the test, and more practice tools and feedback, than any other English-language test in the world.
  • You will be able to listen to lectures, view films, attend seminars, read textbooks, perform online research, speak with professors and other students, write academic papers, reports, e-mails and more.

What is the TOEFL test format?

The TOEFL iBT measures skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing, and requires you to combine 2 or more of these skills to respond to a question.
